Padmini Upadhyaya - Bharathanatyam Dancer
Introduction
Padmini S Upadhya, a well known Bharatanatyam Dancer, Choreographer and Artistic Director of Shree Rudraksha Natyalaya. Padmini is the disciple of renowned Guru (Late Smt Narmada in Bangalore and Guru Smt Indira Kadambi. She has been trained in karanas (Natashastra) under the able guidance of guru smt Nirupama Rajendra.
She has choreographed several dance productions for various dance companies such as 'Balagopala Leela', 'JALA, 'Shiva Shakti' 'Sambrama' - The Indian festivals, 'Sai Charita "Dances of India'" Shri Rama Charitam', Ritu vandanam, Anubhandha etc.
With over 25 years of performing experience, Padmini has performed for several prestigious dance festivals in India and abroad.
With great respect to her ancestral values, Padmini wants to go back to her roots and share with her audience the real essence of love and harmony through her Art.
